Jer 6: 15 "Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all. ashamed, neither could -they blush:..."

Abortion - Since 1973 some 31,000,000 babies have been aborted on demand. Can you fathom that number? A whole generation of children never grew up to become productive citizens of our country because' their mothers had them killed. When these precious souls stand before God on judgment day perhaps one will ask "what would I have been, God, if I had been allowed to live?" God may respond, "You would have invented the cure for cancer." To another, "You would have been a great president. To another, "You would have been a great mother raising five sons who all would have become gospel preachers."

How can we as members of the Lord's church stand back and do nothing to stop the slaughter of these Innocent children? Before this year in over 1,600,000 children are going to be killed by their mothers and abortion doctors.

While God has not spoken directly on abortion, He does provide enough scriptural principles that people must follow to be pleasing to Him. Zec 12:1 "The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him." Notice please, "forms the spirit of man within him." Eccl 11:5 "As thou knoweth not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knownest not the works of God who maketh all." Notice please, "the baby in the womb is a work of God." Jer 1:.4-5 "Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." Notice please, "I formed you in the womb." Isa 49:1 "Listen, 0 listen, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. " Notice please, The Lord hath called me from the womb." Read the accounts of Psalms 139:12-16 - Luke 1: 39-44; and Ex. 21:22-25 for further scriptural information.

What should bother us is the great lengths our society will go to protect a baby bird, a little pulpy, a school of fish, speckled owls, and old trees, and will not protect the little baby in the mothers womb. What has happened to our society? We will spend millions saving all the above but will execute the innocent babies How can one justify this terrible discrepancy?

You and I are going to be held accountable before God if we have said nothing and done nothing to stop this slaughter of the innocent little ones.
