Jer 6:15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush:..."

Homosexuality or Sodomy is unnatural sexual relations between two men or two women. Rom 1:26-27, "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet."

Going back to the beginning we find that God is the one who created the counterpart for Adam. Gen 2:18, "And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him." The help meet that God created was not another man, but a woman. If God had created another man as a help meet for Adam the human race would never have been perpetuated. Notice, Eve was her name--not Steve.

Looking at His creation He said, "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."(Gen.l:.31)

Read the account of the wickedness of Sodomy from Gen.19:1- 11. But before this account notice these passages, Gen 13:13, "But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly." Gen 18:20, "And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is, very grievous." After reading these passages one can see that homosexuals really should be called "Sodomites.

This is such a grievous sin before God that in Old Testament times He demanded the death penalty. Lev 20:13, "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." Why? Because this sin is so unnatural, so Impure, so forbidden, so shameful that God's wrath is against all who would commit or promote this iniquity.

This sin can be forgiven and the practice of "Sodomy" can be forsaken if one has the mind set to do no. Paul says such in possible in 1 Cor.6:9-11, "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." Notice please, "nor effeminates, nor abusers of themselves with mankind.. . " Paul says "such were some of you." You were involved-in "Sodomy" but you were forgiven because you repented and ceased the sin.

We need to love all sinners but we do not approve of, nor can a Christian tolerate the sin of Sodomy. One Man and one woman until death do us part is God's plan for sexual purity.
